Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful day today. It started out this morning with a trip to Portland where we joined my family at my home church. Abby really likes the nursery there, so I got to enjoy an entire church service. Between teaching Sunday School every other month, traveling lots and having a young child, I could count the times I have gotten to sit through a whole service in the last 2 years, so this was a special treat. It was a great time of corporately celebrating Jesus' death and resurrection.
After church we all went over to Mom and Dad Bass' house for a delicious Easter dinner, some egg hunting and birthday celebrating. Aunt Ellie came down from Astoria and Grandpa and Grandma Bass came up from Springfield so we had a good family time. It was nice to all be together, especially since Paul is leaving soon for his 3rd tour of duty.
Here are some pictures from our day:

Abby helped Daddy unwrap his birthday present and eat his dessert.
Cora enjoyed her new book.
Elise enjoyed doting on Abby

Abby and Lily both talked Grandma into a bath - what trip to Grandma's house is complete without one?

So much excitement in one day is exhausting!
