This whole child safety lock thing is getting a bit frustrating. The first kind we bought were too long, which we didn't discover until after installing and the door would not shut. So, then we tried the kind with the magnet lock. $20 and several more holes later we discovered our cabinet doors are too thick for the magnet to work. Grrrr. So now our only options left are the kind that go on the outside of the door - so ugly! Oh, well. Better an ugly cabinet than a poisoned baby.
