That's how long it has been since I posted last - wow, time goes by so fast. So here is a brief overview of our last 30 days. A few days after Abby's birthday we said good-bye to our out-of-town guests, did some more packing (to move), then packed for a quick trip to Cali. We headed out after work on Thursday, June 4th and spent the night in Medord. We continued the road trip Friday making it to El Dorado Hills in time for a yummy Grandma Dorothy dinner. That day we received the go ahead to move - only problem was we were 500 miles away! Saturday was filled with celebrations - a beautiful baby shower for Tara and then dinner to celebrate Grandma and Grandpa Earl's 60th wedding anniversary. Sunday we enjoyed another Grandma Dorothy meal (gotta love those!) then headed home and were so proud of our little trooper who made it the whole way without crying - wow, what a blessing! Monday we got most of our furniture moved and then Tuesday it was back to work. With help from my parents and sister we were able to finish up moving and cleaning the old appartment. Although we will miss Farrar, we are absolutely loving our new place! Last weekend I ran a rummage sale for work, so I am really looking forward to this weekend of getting some time to settle in, hopefully hang curtains and all that homey stuff. Oh, and I almost forgot - we have a walker! Shortly before we left for CA Abby switched from taking steps "on accident" to purposely trying to walk. A couple weeks ago she really started to get it down and was doing the zombie walk. I think she now looks more like the drunken sailor, but still often puts her arms out in front of her.

first happy meal on the way to CA - we are learning where all the play structures are along the I-5 corridor
the adorable mommy to be!

In support of today's NBA Draft - thanks Grandma Sharon for the outfit!
One of Abby's favorate past times is "unlocking" things with keys. It does not need to be a key hole. The screws on Daddy's chair work great and tonight I discovered that my ear is fun to unlock as well.
Abby has turned into quite the ham. I'm pretty sure she doesn't know what a camera is, but somehow she knows to smile big when I'm taking a picture.
